One day in late 2002,
the partners were sitting across some Starbucks coffee trying to come up with a
name for the company. We knew we would deliver Solutions, but we wanted to come
up with another word that described what we did-that we would deliver basic
solutions, not too much, but not too little, and that we would keep costs down
with a minimum of overhead and packaging. It reminded us of the no-frills
packaging that the supermarkets of the 1980s used to reduce costs to the
consumer:Plainwrap. And that's how the company was born.
Today, Plainwrap Solutions offers cost-effective, strategic
technology solutions to small and medium-sized corporations. We utilize
Internet technology developed on open systems or industry standard platforms.
We offer the strategic services of a CTO as well
as economical well-focused business tools.
